Easy DIY Chair Makeover
I recently did a little "chair" makeover where I took this ugly old bench/chair that my sister didn't want and made it into a super cute upholstered seat for my office. I love it and it was so easy to do! I made a video tutorial for anyone interested in how I did this.
The supplies you will need are:
- A chair you want to makeover (duh!)
- Primer (the kind that says you do not need to sand. save yourself the trouble!)
- Paint of your choice
- Paintbrush (you can often find these at the dollar store!)
- Screwdriver
If your chair is not upholstered and you would like to make it that way, you'll also need these supplies:
- Plywood to make a new seat bottom
- Foam
- Upholstery fabric
- Scissors
- Sharpie
- Knife to cut foam
- Batting (I skipped this, but it does make your seat nicer)
- Drill to drill new holes into new seat. be sure to line up with the holes from your chair frame.
- Staple Gun and Staples
- Saw to cut plywood
Ok, enjoy the video and let me know if you have any questions!
