The Joy of Soy - not the edible kind

Ever since last winter when I was learning new crafts to make Christmas gifts, I've been really into making soy wax candles. So far I haven't tried to sell any. To be honest, it's hard for me to even give them as gifts because I love these so much! I'm a sucker for anything that smells good and I have to say, my candles smell yummy! It's not like it was a lot of work. I basically bought a candle making kit and it came with these amazing scents that you can add. (Sorry, I don't know where I bought the kit but I know there are a million places online to get full kits or individual supplies.) If you have been wanting to try candle making, I want to recommend soy wax. It melts easy, doesn't smell weird and it cleans up so easy! Spilled some wax on the stove? No problem! It comes right off with soap and water! Oh no, now I sound like an infomercial... I promise I'm not trying to see you anything. I'm just really loving this stuff. The other cool thing is that the candles don't smoke! So, it's good for you (no smoke in your lungs) and good for the planet. So, I just thought I would share my latest obsession. Now I have to go buy more wax...
