New Things, Custom Made...

So, over the past couple of days I've been working on a piece for a coworker/friend of mine! She wanted a necklace for her daughter with a picture of their dog on it. Their dog is SUPER cute, by the way! So I took this picture that she had emailed me and printed it really small. I have these adorable metal frames that I embedded it in. I did a similar one in my ETSY shop but for that one I covered the photo with resin. This can be tricky for something so small. It's pretty easy to mess up and pour resin all over the place (if you're like me anyway!). So, I decided to do something new and I covered this one in a glaze. It came out so nice (if I do say so myself!). It has the same effect of the one in my shop, maybe even nicer. It is a perfect size for my friends’ 9-year-old daughter. Not too big but big enough that you can see the photo clearly. I hung this one on a cute ball chain necklace. She liked it and that makes me happy :)
